Please follow the following steps to delete your account :

1. Sign in to your AfriOn account using the web application from your preferred navigator or your downloaded mobile application.
2. After Signing in, select the “Account” tab in the upper right corner.
3. Once on the Account page, select “Delete Account” from the side menu
4. Click on the confirmation button inside the new dialog box
5. Once the deletion is confirmed inside the application, you will be asked to confirm it via email as the action is irrevocable.
6. Open the received email (sent to the inbox of the user address used to create the account) and click on the “Delete Account” button.
7. Done. Your account is now deleted and you will notice that you have been automatically signed out and will not be able to sign in again using the same user email (but you can create a brand new account).
8. You will now receive a follow-up email to confirm deletion with the following body :
   

   “Your account and all your personal data have been permanently deleted in compliance with local and international data privacy laws, including the EU’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

    

   You and other users are no longer able to access any information that was associated with your account, this action is now completed and can no longer be reversed. If you have any further questions or concerns about your personal data or how it was used, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

    

   The same email address can now be used to create a new account.
